By confirming a booking with us you accept the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

All rates are based on an apartment, per night basis. The prices shown are inclusive of any service charges.

Credit cards
Your card details will be used to guarantee your booking with us and to guarantee any demand made for payment for damage caused to an apartment by you (including any breach of our non- smoking policy). No other charges will be made unless specified or in the event of your failure to comply with our cancellation policy (see below).

All deposits are non-refundable.

Arrival and departure
Arrival: Your apartment will be available from 2pm.
Departure: You need to vacate your apartment by 11am on the morning of your departure.
Please inform us if you will be arriving late. Failure to do so may result in the apartment being resold.

Mobility and Disabled Access
We comply with the access requirements of current legislation. If you have any special requirements please inform us at the time of booking.

It is your responsibility to take out insurance cover for unexpected cancellations or curtailment of your stay, as well as the loss of baggage, personal affects or money. We do not accept responsibility for any losses you incur.

The maximum occupancy of apartments is based on the total number of persons occupying the apartment at any one time. Children are included in the maximum occupancy numbers.
High chairs and cots are available on request. Please let us know your requirements and we will reserve whatever you need.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Pets are not accepted at the County Hall Hotel with the exception of assistance dogs which are welcome at no extra charge.

We operate a strict no-smoking policy throughout the hotel. Failure to comply will result in an automatic charge of £200 being made to your account.

You are personally responsible for any damage caused to the apartment, hotel or the furnishings of the hotel by you or a member of your party (or anyone visiting your apartment). If any such damage is caused, whether deliberately or accidentally, you shall be liable to pay to the County Court Hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage. The County Court Hotel is expressly authorized by you to make a charge to your credit card for the full amount due.

Events Beyond our Reasonable Control
We shall not be in breach of these terms, nor liable for any failure to perform any of our obligations in relation to your booking (such as the provision of apartment(s) and/or other products and/or services and/or extras) due to any adverse event, act, omission or accident which happens beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, interruption or fire or failure of (except by way of our default) electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures. Neither can we control the noise levels of traffic or pedestrians in the proximity of the hotel. Please bear in mind that the hotel is situated in the town centre, which is why it is so convenient for local amenities and attractions.

If it is necessary to cancel your booking, you can do so up until 14 days before the intended day of your arrival without incurring a charge. You will be given a cancellation reference number that you will need to quote in any future correspondence regarding this booking. To cancel your booking call us on 01205 500501.

If you fail to comply with our cancellation policy you will be charged the equivalent to the cost of your stay. This also applies to apartments within group bookings.
Very rarely, we may have to cancel your booking. We will inform you as soon as possible and offer you alternative accommodation of the same standard, or higher, or offer a full refund. We cannot pay compensation or any reimbursement of any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any such cancellation or change.
